I want to go from Hong Kong to Shenzhen for the day - do I need a visa? I thought there was a 72-hour visa-free entry arrangement? I hold a full UK passport.

For what purpose will come to Hong Kong? For employment, investment, education, training or visit?
If just for visit, you need not get a Hong Kong Visa, and the visa free period will last for about 3 months at least.

Hi Andrew,
did you ever get a reply to your question regarding the 72 hrs visa free stay? I believe you must be part of a tour group to get such a priviledge.
