There's an international every other day from Hong Kong to Shanghai which takes about 25.5 hours. It's the K100 which leaves Hong Kong at 1500 and arrives at Shanghai at 1638 the next day.
After that, you can take the N518/N519 train (runs daily) to Huangshan. It leaves Shanghai at 2202 and arrives at Huangshan at 0850 the next day.
