Maz,

There are daily flight between Shanghai and Bangkok by China Eastern Airlines and Thai Airlines, there are a few options:

MU(China Eastern Airlines):
Shanghai/ Bangkok 8:10/ 10:30 and 15:05/ 18:30

Thai Airlines:
Shanghai/ Bangkok 8:10/ 10:30

The ticket price is CNY3960 or USD488, plus the fuel surchage of about CNY330 or USD41, but make sure to book in advance, it's highly probable to get discounts.

It costs ABOUT CNY2300, the fuel surcharge is about CNY300~400. I can not figure it out why the price gap between SH/ Bangkok and HZ/ Bangkok is so large :(

hi rita,

hm i thought there was a large disparity in price between airfares
too, remarkable how some flights were coming out at about ?200
and the rest ?400 - it made such a difference what day you flew
too, intriguiing! but definate possibilites! i can't wait got my chiina
tickets through today and am definately away from 18th apr to 5th
may - so how i fill my time inbetween is up to me!
