You mean from Urumqi? That's way too far. Take flight is the best way, though there are no direct flights between the two cities, you can either choose to connect flight in XIan or in Beijing.

Yes,from Urumqi???So far away~~~~~~~

If you want to take a train,you should better come to Beijing first,and then to HK.

Hi there,
Not sure how long you've got or how adventurous you want to be but you can take trains or buses from Urumqi to Lanzhou and then south through Xian or Chengdu to Guangzhou where its just a simple bus ride to HK.

Or fly to Guangzhou or Shenzhen and take the bus or ferry to KH respectively.

It's a great long journey. Hope you enjoy it
