MOUNTAINGOAT Points: Join Date: Feb 22, 2006 Status: offline	I understand that there are two youth hostels in Guangzhou. May i knwo which is the one nearer the Guangzhou east rail station ? Is this train station very far from the Airport ? I want to travel to HK by train but must be back in GZ to take the flight home. Which area is a good place to look for accomodation that is close to both the train station and airport and also city area where i can do shopping ?

CALIFORNIA Points: Join Date: Jul 22, 2005 Status: Offline	I lived in Bin Jiang YHA,and it is not near to the Guangdong East Railway Station,but it is easy to find,and at the side of Pearl River,nice!

There're 2 train stations, one in the older city district and one in the newer, eastern city district (called Tianhe). How on earth are you going to find a place to stay when these places aren't even anywhere close to each other?! BTW you can take airport shuttle bus from around the Guangzhou (East) train station to go to the airport.

Is it easy for you to get around to city centre, airport and Eastern train staton from the YHA that you stayed at ? What mode of transportation do you used mostly ? It is taxi ?
