I love receiving presents but sometimes I received things which I don't really fancy. But what to do, its the thought that counts. What kind of presents do you think is appropriate for weddings, birthdays, etc? What kind of presents for friends or loved ones? Yeah, buying presents is one BIG BIG headache!!

For weddings:
I recommend good quality china table wares that they will use every day for wedding presents or romantic hanging silk carpets which they can hang it in their bedroom if the couple are your good friends. If the bride is your friend, you can give her something used in kitchen, she will always remember you if the gift is not so easily broken, hehe~

For birthday:
I usually pay attention to this birthday boy/girl what he/ she needs or like..., if that is within affordable of me, I will try to get it for him/ her...

For loved ones:
Flowers are always welcome and safe and you can always afford...

I used to give baby stuff like baby clothes/ baby cot to my newlyweds friends, very close friends I mean, such as those who spent four years in college with me:-)
