Can you tell us which city or which place are you going to live? Living expense are different in different places.

Well,I'm going to vist the South,South West and West of China (Yunnan,Sichuan,Guanxi,Guizhou,Gansu...)

Well, it's hard to say how much money do you need for your visiting. Since you must consider transportation fees, accommodation, dining etc.etc. But I can say the living expenses in these places you are going to visit is quite cheap. For example, a local resident with RMB 1000~2000 can live happily.
