| We will be in Shanghai for 14 days in May. Our aims are to visit lots of markets [ my partner loves them ], and i want to see the gardens and canals etc to take lots of photographs, as that is my new hobby now that i am retired. We hope to be able to visit Suzhou and some of the water towns as well. We have secured our accomodation, but we may need the services of a car with driver, or taxi on occasion. Does anyone have any contacts or suggestions that may assist a couple of Senior Citizens, who will have a fairly tight budget and do not want to get ripped off. Any idea's regarding markets [ Open air/Evening/Antique/ etc. ]. nothing too upmarket, and also suggestions as too where i can go to see and photograph the " Real " China [a very misused word i know]. Grateful for any info. Thank You. Beejay. |

| I think I've already replied you on email regarding the car, but I haven't received a response from you. Markets: Dongtai Lu antiques market, Yuyuan Bazaar, Old Street, Duolun Lu, Xiangyang Lu "fake" market, Jiangyin Lu (pets and etc)... |
