I do not think Apliu Street is only available during weekends. In fact, it is available every day and weekends will be more busy. As what you check, you can go there from noon to midnight Every day you want to.

There are many kinds of stuffs to buy and many Westeners visit there. Things are all cheap and most of them are electronics goods: like electronics toys, Televisions, radios, VCD, DVD, etc. The main point is they are all cheap and many westener buyers go there for research
