| Movies comes in many types - romance, war films, adventures, horror, comedy, science-fic, cartoons, comic-book heroes, fictional monsters, autobiography etc etc... the list goes on ... the choice is endless. Most people have preference for a certain kind of movies. If they like horror movies, they will not want to see other types of movies. Some people watch movie because of the actors/actresses. It does not matter if the show is bad. Some watch the movie because everybody say that it is a good movie. Some watch movie because they just like to watch movies. Any kind of movie will do. Some watch movie ... but is actually sleeping throughout the show. And what about your choice of movie? Is it a serious movie like Brokeback Mountain or some incredible show like Nanny Mcphee? |

| I hardly watch movies. But normally I will go for more semi-serious films with good actors/actresses. As such I like Gongli's Chinese ( as opposed to HK's ) films. Zhang Ziyi's films are so so to me - other than her 1st film "Gui Lai" ( Home COming ? ). Her recent films esp the "gongfu" ones are just lipstick movies more for commercial purposes. For Western movies, I will go for films acted by Jack Nicholson, Nicolas Cage, John Travolta, etc. Actresses ? None in particular. |
