It is said that basketball & Yao Ming have over-shadowed all the other sports in China.

Many youngsters are trying to play basketball more that other sports like table-tennis & soccer.

China is exceptional in table tennis. But Houston Rockets is the place every youngsters dream about. It is the fame & the money!! Sadly many youngsters have forgotten about Sun Jihai & Li Tie. They are playing professional football in England. They don't earn as much money as Yao Ming so they are not so high-profiled.

Hopefully kids remember that there may never be another Yao Ming. And they should continue to play and to excel in other sports.

I love watching table tennis. Players have such quick reflexes, it is amazing. Amazing!!

Indeed, not many people can be as tall as Yao Ming - with or without his skills.

Yes, Yao Ming is popular. Basketball? No way. At least not as popular as football and table tennis. How about Liu Xiang? He is also famous.

In fact, China has many many physical training schools in every province. Children who has certain talent will be sent to study in the school. Yao Ming is a good example. If you don't have talent in basketball, you will never become Yao Ming.

Without question, table tennis is still the most popular sport in China!

But the fans of football are the craziest in China:)
