Laundry While Traveling

While staying in inexpensive hotels in China is laundry service usually available? I notice that some travelers suggest washing your own laundry in hotel rooms while traveling, something that doesn't appeal to me. I'll be traveling for a month in China with a small 12 pound backpack so I'll need to do laundry frequently. Thanks.

I believe you can find laundry shops when you are in cities. Most of the youth hostles provide laundry service.
