| 1) Wholesale buildings are clustered around Guangzhou main train station, however the area is also rife with pickpockets and other riff-raff so don't stay near here if possible. The area is connected by metro, so staying somewhere close to a metro stop on the same line would suffice. 3) The D trains to Guangzhou do not run from the airport. You'll need to take bus K568 or a taxi to Shenzhen train station, then a train from there. No online ticketing for China's train system, but there're plenty of these trains. Actually, you might as well take a bus from Shenzhen airport to Guangzhou. You should be able to catch the departure at 1240. Fare is 55 RMB and the journey takes 2 hours. |
