Being special and different from others is crucial to become famous, Jay is special. The most special part is that no one except himself can understand what he sings. :-)

I've been thinking he might do some surgery on his tongue.

Yeah, very cruel, but recently I heard a kind of cosmetology called vocal cords surgery, seriously. :-) It makes people's voice Orphean.
