Hello everyone,

We are going to be in Hong Kong for 3 nights in May. We're having a hard time deciding where to stay in HK.

Where in the HK Area is the best to stay (HK Island, Kowloon, Lantau, etc)? It would be great to have an awesome view from the hotel, but we'd rather be close to the most popular attractions.

Here are some of the hotels that I'm thinking about:

Holiday Inn Express
CAUSEWAY BAY
33 SHARP ST. EAST, CAUSEWAY BAY
HONG KONG

Prudential Hotel
Hong Kong Island
222 Nathan Road
Kowloon

Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel
Hong Kong Island
1 CASTLE PEAK ROAD
Hong Kong, HK

Renaissance Harbour View
Hong Kong Island
1 HARBOUR ROAD WANCHAI
HONG KONG, HK

Le Meridien Cyberport
Hong Kong Island
100 CYBERPORT ROAD
Hong Kong, CN

Holiday Inn Golden Mile
Kowloon Area
50 NATHAN ROAD
TSIMSHATSUI KOWLOON

Langham Place Hotel
Kowloon Area
555 SHANGHAI STREET
MONGKOK, KOWLOON

Eaton Hotel Hong Kong
Kowloon Area
380 NATHAN ROAD KOWLOON
Hong Kong, CN

Harbour Plaza Hong Kong
Kowloon Area
20 TAK FUNG ST WAMPOA GARDEN
HUNGHOM KOWLOON
Kowloon, HK

The Empire Hotel Kowloon
Kowloon Area
62 KIMBERLEY ROAD TSIMSHATSUI
Kowloon, HK

Thanks for your help!

Do you have any flight suggestions from HK to Guilin?

Hi JOEWKS,

Welcome to Hong Kong!

If you want to stay in the hotel of the most popular attractions, the room rate would be quite high.

What's your budget? If you don't care about it, Holiday Innn Golden Mile is a good choice, it located in Tsim Sha Tsui, next to the MTR station. It is very convenience for shopping, eating and sight seeing.

Regarding the flight to Guilin, the Dragonair and China Easten Airline have the flight to there.

Any questions about HK, feel free to contact with me.

Have a nice trip in Hong Kong!

Fiona

Hello Joewks,

There are many HK hotels with awesome view, depends on how much you would like to spend and what kind of view you are expecting.

Langham Place Hotel is extraordinary as it is located in the urban area, with lots of old buildings surrounding it. Also it is located in downtown where is close to popular attraction.

If you like to have a harbor view, you can try Intercontinental Grand Standard Hotel. Its location is convenient as well.

Joe, my favorite is the 'Peninsula Hotel' in Kowloon.

Not the cheapest but exceptional in location and service. It is also a historical landmark in HK. Worth staying at least once in it, lots of shopping and restaurants close by too.
