It is said in 2006, as much as 90% discounted flights tickets may be available! The CAAC(Civil Aviation Administration of China) has released the complex confirming restrictions of applications for joining new domestic flight courses... It means there will be a lot more options on flight schedules/ courses. The competitions will definitely drive the prices low and qualities high.

Dear little Conny, it is OK !! :) :)

I flew for first time when I was age 20 !!

You will love it !!! Flying is the safest form of transportion !! Proven fact !!!!

Also, I think Chinese commercial pilots are very superior aviators !!!! :) :)

I always fly China Southern Airlines to China, from Los Angeles !!!

I am very happy for you !!! :) :)

Conny, the #1 photo on the Thread: “Fear of Flying” is a FAKE! The news of the 'fire' on the left engine of an American Airlines Boeing 777 has in fact spread like wildfire in the Internet instead. So I suggest all the people out there not to be fooled by this picture!
For an un-doctored view of this same Boeing 777-223/ER
777 photo, please click on this link: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/192056/L/
Or, see attached !!!

Conny, The 10-year survey compiled by Dr Arnold Barnett, a statistician from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, for the period 1987 to 1996 indicated that the mortality risk per flight for International jet aircraft, in the advanced world was one in five million. That is equivalent to taking a random flight everyday for about 13,000 years (5,000,000 divided by 365 days) to be involved in a fatal crash! In the lesser ranking airlines, the mortality risk per passenger flight is in the region of around 1 in 400,000. Even with this lower rate, you still have to take a flight every day for about 1000 years before you are likely to be involved in a fatal accident!

I think it is much safer to take a flight flying on the sky than a car acrossing the crowded streets .
