| The first trip was on March 6, 2006! From Beihai (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region), China To Halong (Quang Ninh), Viet Nam The whole trip takes about 10 hours. |

| Hi Rita, You're a gem digging up this information and posting it for us. I fear it may be too late for this member DIANAM1976 who was asking about transport to Vietnam from Beihai. Does it leave from the same terminal that the boats from Hainan use and what about fare and schedule information Better still is there an Englsih website that I can have a look at then I will post the information to Beihai for other interested members Things tend to be hard to find in a forum thread when it gets old. |

| Here's an interesting comment about the ferry from Beihai to Halong A sea experience will take you to historical Weizhou Island (the largest volcanic island in China), Hainan Island or the new sea link from Beihai to Haiphone and Halong, Vietnam's world renowned "Guilin On the Sea". Vietnam sea link is presently restricted to Chinese nationals, HongKong residents only. |
