Oh, a old thread!

In fact, Sanya is called Eastern Hawaii, not Hawaii of China. Because its special location, 3 famous bays, clear sea water, clean beach, and so on.

Hainan is a province, Sanya is just one city of Hainan. As for Yalong Bay, which is just a bay, also the most important part for Sanya. Because all top hotels are located there, such as Sheraton, Marriott, Hilton, Crown Plaza, Holiday Inn, etc.

If you haven't been to Sanya, please take a look at these website. I believe they would let you know more about Hainan, especially Sanya.
