Will be in Kaili region for three weeks starting
on April 10. What is temp like? What clothes
fit the weather? Can I change dollars and

Is that in Guizhou? Maybe JABAROOTOO can give u some tips on travel in Guizhou.

Kaili is in Guizhou province, famous for its minorities.

Are you travelling through Guiyang? If so change some money there. Recommend you get in touch with Louisa, she is a memeber from Kaili and a great source of information and help if you need it.
If you have been cashing cheques in the Bank of China in ohter cities you should have no trouble but the easiest way to get money in China is to use your Credit or Debit cards in the ATM to access RMB. You must have a Cirrus Plus card and you'll find ATM's that accept these cards at the Bank of China in most cities. (Maestro may work too)

I have chinese bank accounts but all my visiors have used their international cards to get RBM.
