Dust or Sand Storm in China

I heard from yesterday's news that 8 people (I think in Mongolian) died due to Dust Storm. How is the dust storm situation in Bejing? How long would it usually last?

Beijing is still alive,but too terrible,I have to return my hometown to enjoy my sea and sunshine:-)
