I am a singaporean who just arrived in hangzhou.

Yes, have been to HZ a few times but more as a tourist and on business visits. Have a good impression of the city - have considered residing there, even. Should be a good place to live and work for a few years.
And it is near to SH - just about 2 hrs by car/train; yet avoid the hustle/bustle of the huge city.
