hi all!!!

going to beijing n will be there from 21may onwards... just wodnering will there b any interesting happenings then? any activities to intro during this period of time? anything??? hehe... hope to hear from y'all soon!

yah heard from my friend also its warm but its ok, singapore is also a warm tropical country so i am quite used to it!!! any events or interesting stuff in MAY to do???

Beijing itself is very interesting esp if u like historical stuff. It would actually help to enjoy your trip much better if you equip yourself with a little Chinese history - esp the Qing dynasty.
The nice thing about Beijing is that the attractions tend to be close to each other, so travel by foot or bus or better still cycle around would be ideal.

1. Great Wall - must.
2. Makan - shua yang rou
3. Rickshaw ride round Lake ....( can't remember the name ! ).
4. Tour the hutong - fast disappearing.
5. Appreciate the underground alleys
6. Go pub/discos at .... (again can't remember the name !).
7. Watch Beijing opera.
8. Try Imperial meals.

Locals please help !!!!!!!
