Kashgar to Ali

Has anyone hitched from Kashgar to Ali? Any problems with altitude sickness/low night-time temperatures? Who did you hitch with? Did you stop to acclimatize? Is a foreigner likely to get through now?

Hi,Jamie,

I have never been to there.But your route was as the Xingzang(Xinjiang to Xizang) Road,it is viable.

But I think you need a special permit to Ali.I have no idea.

It is too high,pls take good care of yourself.
