From the [new] Baiyun International Airport (CAN) located in the suburban district of HuaDu, to the train station in downtown Guangzhou, the travel time is approx. 45 to 60 minutes by taxi, and maybe a little longer by express bus service. It all depends on the time of day, the day of the week, and the resulting traffic congestion.

As was this past week, and during the next week ahead, the travel times are somewhat greater, due to the impact of the ‘Canton Trade Fair’ and all the customers/participants in the city utilizing the transportation system. With a metered taxi, you should pay in the range of 150 to 200 Yuan(RMB); maybe a little more, again, depending on the demand on the transportation system. Try to avoid the un-metered and un-marked ‘taxis’. Have a great trip !!

Hi,

Which train station? Guangzhou train station? or Guangzhou East?

It cost you around RMB 85 by taxi from Baiyun airport to Guangzhou train station while RMB 80 to Guangzhou East.

Hopefully the information above can be of help.
