Looking for a hostel or cheapie hotel in Tai Yuan

LYTTLEFISH Points: Join Date: Apr 23, 2006 Status: offline	Hi All: I will be flying to Twi Yuan for the May holiday and planning to take a train to Pinyao. My question is..does anyone know of a good, inexpensive hostel or hotel in Tai Yuan that I can stay for a couple of nights? Is there anything I must see while in Tai Yuan? Thanks Lyttlefish

Hi lyttlefish,
sorry to be late i was away at work. i did not spend much time in taiyuan. as i felt it was better to be staying at the ancient pingyao city. i would recomend you to stay at Dejuyuan ( its a family run establishment). as for the various sites at pingyao city its all within walking distances...
i rented a car with driver to travel to Qiaojia & wangjia ( the local tourist was a bit too much too my liking).

GUEST74214	Must-sees are the JInci (晋祠) temple complex outside of town and the new Shanxi Museum (山西博物院) on the west bank of the river.
