Northern lights in Mohe

I would like to know when is the best time to see
the northern lights in Mohe. Also, how am I go get there from Harbin. Thank you

Hi Cally,

Northern lights can happen all the year round, but if you want to see that in Mohe (漠河), the best time is the nine days around summer solstice, which is June 21 this year.

I think you will have to take a train there, Mohe is a just small village/town.

Wow, Rita...where can I read up more on this summer solstice thing? I plan to go to Mohe soon.
