Transport from Guanghou to Guilin

Hi,
I plan to travel from Guangzhou to Guilin by road.
Please let me know the bus fare and the train fare.
I would also like to know how long the journey take.

Give me some suggestions whether I should take a bus or train and whether I should travel at night or during day time. For your information, I do enjoy looking at scenery along the way.

My suggestion for you is to take the soft-sleeping train from Guangzhou to Guilin. K36/K37 runs about 13 hours during the night from 18:31 to 08:20 (the next morning) and it only takes USD35.00 per person.
