I am coming over to Dalian to begin teaching in September. I came onto here to try and find some friends. If anyone wants to make friends with an outgoing, sporty 21 year old then please please let me know!!!

Hi Ricky

I am in Liaoning Province in the much smaller, far less beautiful city of Benxi.

I have only heard good things about Dalian (hope to visit soon!!) and I know there are a lot of foreign teachers in the city and dong bei ren (NE people) are very open and friendly so I'm sure you will quickly find friends .

I just wanted to say welcome to the North East: in Mandarin dong bei (东北). I have been here just over a year and really have had a fantastic time. I'm sure you will too.
