Yes, we are used to temp. in the low 30s & if it is not as humid, it is still very ok. But, I have been frightened by your weather reports. By next week, probably Xian will be hotter still - in the 40s ?
So, will go elsewhere instead - maybe HuangShan which is expected to be below 30 C. Will visit Xian again when weather is below mid-20s.
See u guys/gals another time !
