Ancient Names Tell - Category 1_Capital Cities_Changchun

As early as in 1800, the city gained this name, though not as a capital then. I could not more information about its name before that time, or probably it didn't have any at all, for the history of the city is very short comparatively .

It's important to mention that in March 1932, the so called Manchuria changed the name of Changchun into 新京 or "New Capital" which lasted for a brief of period only.

It is a green city,I like it!

And it is as the capital of Puppet Manchurian State.
