| I am going to Chengdu in August to study Chinese and broaden my horizons (as they say). Is anyone familiar with the area? Any suggestions about interesting places or helpful advice? |

| Hi, Welcome to China! Chengdu is a great city with long history and delicious cuisines. You can go to visit many places when you are free. e.g. Leshan Giant Buddha, Mt. Emei, Mt. Qingcheng, Wolong Panda Reserve, etc. Wandering in the street and enjoy an easy afternoon at one teahouse is another good choice. If you like hot and spicy food, you will find you are in the Paradise of Food in Chengdu! Yeah, I like that city and wishing to come back. |
