The Celtic man Irish Pub
is Located in De yi World Square downstairsNo7-2,B1 the first bar next to the skytrain station across from the Marriott Hotel. There are Live bands, pool table, darts and plays a variety of music with the exception of loud disco music. Cheap beers and drink specials. The Celtic man at the moment is pretty much the only Foreign hangout bar in Chongqing. A nice place to hangout and meet other Foreigners, a home away from home.

hi mr. celtic if there is any chance for us to play live western musics in your pub. we are only a bunch of guys who play some guitar.,bass and sing and would like to have an experience in playing bars and chill out . do let us know. thanking you.

The Celtic Bar no longer exist. The Canadian owner closed the bar then got back to Canada last year.
But you could contact other bars to have a try, because there are some nice bars around that area.

You could try Soho, Pink, Cotton Club and True Love etc.

GUEST70125 While the Celtic Man bit the dust a couple years ago, The Harp Irish Pub at Hongya Dong is going strong....I was in there last week and it was packed with foreign xpats. I plan to go there for World Cup, as they are one of the only sports oriented bars in Chongqing.

The food is good too, I tried the beef brisket and was very pleased.

nothing like a Kilkenny to wash it down with as well.

GUEST17534 Celtic Man is long gone....The Harp Irish Pub opened up in 2010, and is the only western pub in Chongqing. The Harp is located at Hongya Dong, downtown Chongqing (near Carrefour). It is just as good, if not better than The Celtic Man ever was. The major advantage is, it has an outdoor patio, a river view, and is not located in the basement of D's world!!!! Anyway, we all appreciate The Harp in Chongqing, and the fact that they have lots of imported beer choice.
