Hi Cali, I'm OK thanks. I've been busy working every hour of the day so i can travel again! I possibly have an interesting question for Pinetree: Do you know of a Singaporian football team who play in Purple and white stripes? They are in division 2 or 3 in Singapore.

Gaz, Unfortunately I am really not familiar with the local soccer scene here - have given up on our soccer for a long time. But maybe some other SG members can help. Why are u asking this ?

When i visited Singapore in 2004 i got lost trying to find the night safari. Instead, i found a football pitch with Singapore players with purple and white striped shirts training on a football field. They asked if i could play football, somebody gave me football boots and i played! Fantastic! And the Singaporians were so kind they took me to the night safari after playing football! It's one of my greatest memories, but I never knew the name of the team =(

I don't really know what team was that. If they could just invite you to participate, then probably it was just a team formed by some friends that love the sport - not necessarily a competitive team. Good that u find SG friendly & helpful.
