I am travelling with a group in China for 23 days in July and August. While in Lahasa, I have a free day on July 29. Is it possible to get a flight that would fly out to the vicinity of Mt Everest, possibly land?? and return to Lahasa the same day? I have not been able to find if any tour operators do such a trip?

There is no flight available to Mr. Everest, and land tour needs at least 4 days(or more?). No tour operators can do such a trip within one day.
