I am planning a 10-days trip to JiuZhaiGou / ZhangJiaJie at the second half of November (19th -- 28th). Hope that someone will tell me the whether there and what sort of clothing I need.

Thank you very much.

Hi Teohp!
It would be cold at that time when you come to Jiuzhaigou Valley. It should enter the cold winter. Snow and rain would catch the Valley, so bring jacket and overclothes and pay attention to keeping warm after Oct, and umbrella is necessary.

Bring with you some constantly used medicines.

You can buy film everywhere.

It is forbidden to live in Jiuzhaigou ( protect the nature). All the hotels are out of the valley.

And I think Zhangjiajie should be warmer than Jiuzhaigou, but you still take more and warm cloth, for you will stay in the mountains for about 2 days at least after all. And also take umbrella and raincoat. I think at that time, you will enjoy the rare and beautiful snow scene of southland~~
You are very wise to choose that time after the golden 7-day holiday to avoid the high season for tourism.
