LANGDONIS Points: Join Date: Sep 23, 2004 Status: offline	this is a crushing trip but well rewarded in terms of sights and scenery. i have a somewhat long but recent account of the journey posted to www.hoopee.com as langdon. contrary to what your guide book says this trip is possible although you will get searched and hassled by the police "there are no torist resorts here, come with us". is a common phrase you'll here. some road checks can last up to 3 hours as the PLA rips apart the bus. worth it in the end though. hugs, langdon
