I know you can access Hotmail when in China but the others I am not sure if you can.

of course you can ,I'm sure about the first and third ,because I often use them here ,take it easy ,there won't be any problems :)

Semrumo, I notice one reply says 'of course you can', but there are some sites and some topics which you cannot access. You cannot access Wikpedia from within China. Search engines are modified so that some controversial subjects are excluded. However, you should be able to acces most web sites.

I've checked these 3 sites from here in China and they're all accessible.

Apault is right though. China does still block sites, noticably for me the BBC and Wikipedia :(

Confucius here represented the people who run the country. For these words, Confucius was not so big in my heart. I am sad the Wikipedia was not accessible in China, it was my favorite website, not only for the vast knowledge it contains, but for the spirit behind it.

The more you learn, the more you will think; sometimes people don't like you thinking too much, so they cut your way to learn...

But, Confucuis was wrong, because he did not know 'proxy server'. Hey Apault, try accessing Wikipedia using proxy servers, it may help, but it takes ages to open it.
