Tour Company Recommendations

Hello,
We are planning our 1st trip to China and want to do a tour of about 12-14 days. Has anyone used Let's Travel China as their tour compnay? Has anyone had a great experience with any tour company?

We don't want to rough it.
Is Sept and Oct the best times to go, in terms of weather?

Welcome to China! In terms of weather, Sept. and Oct. is indeed the best season for you to travel most parts of China. But it will be quite crowded from Oct. 1st to Oct. 7th. So try to avoid this period of time!

In October is the Chinese "Mid Autumn Festival" also called the "Moon Festival" This is a very busy time with many people traveling to be with family and friends making it harder to get train,bus and plane tickets.

Hi Suzieeq,

Oct 1st is the National Day, we get 7 days off from work(it is called Golden Week), so many people take the chance to travel around. All the major sightseeing spots will be very crowded. The hotel rooms and flight/ train tickets are in great demand also.
