Hi Griz326, I think the swiss army knives might not the best choice for a gift. But the other two will be good.

Shouldn't be a problem with any of them, just be sure that the knives are not in your carry on luggage?????

I thought they would be greatly enjoyed. Is there a superstition about giving knives as gifts? I know we Irish put a penny in the box so that we "do not cut the friendship" but we still give knives as gifts.

Steve, If in doubt on getting the Swiss Army Knives through customs, you can always buy them in China.I noticed a lot of Swiss knives and good old Zippo lighters(my old stompping grounds) for sale when I was there.
