Is Ulaanbaatar same as Hohhot. Are they same place? Cannot find Ulaanbaatar at beijing airport departure drop down menu.

Ulan Bator is the capital of the State of Mongolia, an independent country now.

Hohhot is the capital city of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a region in China.

They are definitely two cities. Ulaanbaatar is in Mongolia and Hohhot is the capital city of Inner Mongolia.
So maybe you should find the international departure in the airport??

Of course,two cities!!!

But there are flights from Hohhot to Ulaan Battar,also from Beijing is ok!
