Please help: Train to Youyang from Chongqing

MITHU Points: Join Date: Jul 3, 2006 Status: offline	I am trying to understand whether the train service has started between Chongqing and Youyang. In the past I have travelled by bus/car and spent almost the whole day. If the train service is available, could any one please tell me where I may get a time table and how to buy tickets. The newspaper said it should be operated in middle of last month,but it is not available untill now.I am looking forward that train to be operated soon as well,so i can take a train to Wulong for holiday.The bus trip is long time journey.

Hi Mithu,

In 1st of November,the new route train No,5619 from Chongqing to Xiushang will be operated.So you can take train from Chongqing to Youyang at that time.
5619 Chongqing departs 22:45pm,Xiushang arrives 06:06am;
5620 Xiushang departs 08:20am,Chongqing arrives 15:52pm,it is express train.The hard sits is RMB31;upper hard sleeper is RMB66.

8609 Chongqing departs 08:40am,Xiushang arrives 18:40pm;
8610 Xiushang departs 07:26am,Chongqing arrives 18:10pm,it is normal one.The hard sits is RMB26;no hard sleeper on this train.
