Is this location safe for living? Also, are their any markets, shops etc nearby? Aparment should be safe and secure and should have facilities like furniture, electricity, water, gas, telephone, TV etc. What do you think would be the reasonable rent for long term, say 2-3 years? l think you are working for TATA software hangzhou office in hangzhou .is it right ?

the area you are working for , which is very safe area in hangzhou , as many school and foreign comapany around , the secrity of this area is much better in downtown .

for the apartment , l do not think it is good for a new expat , actally speaking ,it is no life in the BingJiang . anyway, it is working area in hangzhou .
l do advise you rent a falt in downtown , which is about 20 mins drving to bingJiang area , and much convinently for you take taix and bus go to work.
