Wuhan is far from Bangkok. It will take about at least 1 full day to fly/return - airtime + checking in time + to/fro airport time. 2 dys are definitely not enough to see the place. If u don't fly, then it will be worse in time of time availability. Why don't choose a place nearer to Bangkok - like Yunnan or Guangxi ?

Hi Maxtrax, Bangkok to Wuhan was part of my recent travels in May. I flew to Hong Kong. Then bus to Guangzhou. From Guangzhou it takes about 12 hours by train. Overnight is best. Perhaps one can take a train direct from HK also. You will like Wuhan. Kevin

thanks for the reply. I am going to a wedding there and can onñly get a frequent flyer flight to bangkok - nowhere in China. I have found good airfare from bangkok to Xia so I am thinking now to fly to Xian, see the warriers and then head across to Wuhan. Any idea about train or bys for that. thanks again max
