I recommned Dintaifung (鼎泰豊),restaurant located in Xintiandi(新天地). It is not Shanghai local food, it is Taiwanees restaurant.

Steamed Pork Dumpling is tasty, it was most delicious dumpling I ever eaten since came to China half year ago.

Steamed Pork Dumpling 45RBM-68RMB
Other dishes 30-40 RMB
Drinks .. Expensive (I didn't order, not sure)

It is loacated in 2nd floor of Movie Theather building in Xintiandi(新天地).

You may be better to reserve beforehand....

I saw information in front of the restaurant that says New York times selected this restaurant as one of the 10 most good restaurant in .... (not sure)
