TRAVELERONTH... Points: Join Date: Jul 12, 2006 Status: offline	Hi, Can anyone recommend the best (and cheapest) way to purchase air tickets for Beijing to Urumqi? I'm flying into Beijing from the U.S., and would like to get to my destination Urumqi as soon as possible (i.e. no staying over in Beijing). I've checked out a few of the online booking agents, but don't know how reliable they are. Going through a travel agent in the U.S. costs quite a bit. Does anyone have the experience of purchasing the tickets in Beijing for the same day departure to Urumqi? Any suggestions will be greatly appreicated!

PEA28COCK Points: Join Date: Aug 19, 2005 Status: Offline	Hi Travelerontheroad, Most probably you can buy the air ticket in person when arriving in Beijing airport. For most of the time air ticket is much easier to get than train tickets in China. Good Luck to you.
