Haikou to Sanya - travel advice

KAMLA Points: Join Date: Feb 8, 2006 Status: offline	Can anybody advise on the best way of travelling from Haikou airport to Sanya late at night? We arrive at Haikou airport at 10.20pm and are booked into the Holiday Inn Hotel in Sanya the same night. The hotel has quoted 1000RMB to collect us from the airport. I've seen mention of an express coach that takes 3-4 hours to do the journey but I don't know when or where this departs from. Any suggestions? Thank you.

BELLELI Points: Join Date: Sep 8, 2005 Status: Offline	Hi, Kamla Yes, there are public buses after 10pm, the latest bus is 23:30pm. So you could take a taxi to the South Bus Station from airport directly. South Bus Station is located in South Sea Road, not so far from the airport, RMB40 is ok. For public bus from Haikou to Sanya, it's RMB79/person. Hope it helps! Bty, rent a taxi in Haikou by yourself, RMB400 is enough.

GUEST94102	Hi.. can anyone advise me how much is the rented van/vehicle(for 6 person) from Haikou to Sanya ?What is the best way to travel, our flight arrive at Haikuo at 10.20am, and we have 4 days there. Which Hotel is good and cheap ? Please kindly advise me. Thank you. Jen
