 | I will be in Sanya,Hainan in Oct. If you were going there, where would you prefer to stay ??? I know it is a personal preference with cost/mountain/ocean view being a factor, but maybe someone has been there and stayed at a certain hotel and the experience was good or maybe bad. Please post which hotel you would stay at and why. |

| I recommend Jinzonglv Hotel. Because I have stayed there,and really near the beach,good choice!!! |

| Hi, Cali Jinzonglv Hotel has its English name, Golden Palm Resort. A 4* hotel in Yalong Bay, Sanya. Yes, it's a nice hotel. Hi, DIMSUM "If you were going there, where would you prefer to stay ????" If I were going there, I'd like to stay at Dongdonghai. Because Dadonghai is near to the downtown, very convenient for shopping and having dinner. For Yalong Bay, it's just a bay. Except hotels, there is nothing. So I think you could consider to stay at Sanya Bay for 1 or 2days, because Sanya Bay is near the airport and very quiet. Then Yalong Bay for 1 or 2 nights. Although Yalong Bay is very very beautiful, there are no restaurants and shops there, not so convenient and shopping and having dinner there are very expensive. But stay at Yalong can't be missed. At last, move to Dadonghai. Because for the last days, you could go to downtown to go shopping, buy some tropical fruits and local speciality. For Sanya Bay, I'd like to recommend Holiday Inn Sanya Bay, for Yalong Bay-Cactus Resort, Dadonghai-Landscape Beach Resort. All these three hotels are not so expensive and very valuable. | Hello Belleli. Thank you very much. Having never been there, I really appreciate your most valuable information. Good idea about the different hotels to be able to do the different things. And, yes you know I will have to bring back some goodies for the misses and employees at the shop. I'm not sure if I want to move around from hotel to hotel though! Is it difficult to get a cab to go to town and back???????? I plan on having a car/driver and interperter everyday for 8 hours a day. It is the evening time that I would most likely like to walk around town and eat at the little mom and pop or street vendors. Sitting on the beach and resting after trolling around town is just fine with me. |

| Yes, yes, it's very easy to find a cab in Sanya and not so expensive. Here, I give some information for your reference. Yalong Bay-downtown RMB40 25minutes Dadonghai-downtown RMB12 10minutes Sanya Bay-downtown RMB30 20minutes If you don't want to move around from hotel to hotel, I think you could stay 2 nights in Yalong Bay, then stay at Dadonghai for the last days. Dadonghai is near to the downtown, it would be convenient for you to go shopping and have dinner. For hire a car+a driver+an interperter in Sanya, I think RMB800/day at least. Hope it helps! *_* |
