LEMONCACTUS Points: Join Date: Dec 8, 2005 Status: offline	I've checked out the Jilin threads/reviews etc on TCG and I know not many people have been there... but here goes..... I am trying to plan a trip around Jilin Province and have found references to a number of places that I would like to visit. However, I can find almost no information about them in English on the web and my guidebook is useless. If anyone has any info/advice about the following places, I would be so happy to hear it: 1. A park of carvings & sculptures located in Changchun city. 2. Dia shui hu Scenic Area & cave (South of Changchun) 3. The town of De hui, famous for Lotus flowers 4. Yi tong Volcanos Scenic Area (South of Changchun) 5. San jiao long wan, a water-filled volcano (North of Tonghua) 6. Dong gou Ancient Tombs, near Ji'an (South of Tonghua) 7. Xiang hai wetlands (South West of Bai cheng) Also, has anyone been to Chang bai shan lately ? I'd like to stay in the area and explore for a couple of days but would prefer to stay in the park than come out and have to pay the entrance fees again. Is this possible ? Hi,LC,really happy to know that you will travel agian,and I hope everything is ok,here is my answer:

1. A park of carvings & sculptures located in Changchun city.
I think it's Changchun World Sculptures Park,and you can take No.252 arrive Diaosu Gongyuan.

2. Dia shui hu Scenic Area & cave (South of Changchun)
I think it's Diao shui hu,if you have a plan to visit Changbaishan,and I don't think you should go this park.

3. The town of De hui, famous for Lotus flowers
Yes,Dehui is famous for lotus.

4. Yi tong Volcanos Scenic Area (South of Changchun)
You should stop in the city Siping,and go there.Not very easy!!!

5. San jiao long wan, a water-filled volcano (North of Tonghua)
Sorry,I don't know this one!

6. Dong gou Ancient Tombs, near Ji'an (South of Tonghua)
It is amazing,and also not easy to get there.

7. Xiang hai wetlands (South West of Bai cheng)
There are so much wetlands near Baicheng,and the most famous one is named Chagan Hu.

LEMONCACTUS Points: Join Date: Dec 8, 2005 Status: Offline	Thanks for your help Cali, as always!! :) I'm pretty sure I can get a bus from Tonghua to Ji'an... from there I have the names of the sites that I want to visit (part of the ancient Koguryo Kingdom) and hope I can either join a tour with some Koreans or get a taxi driver to take me out for a day to all the sites! lol... I think I may need some luck, thanks ;)
