Visit Macau in 2nd week of September

I saw some articles saying that visit Macau in Sept is good and some saying no because of typhoon, raining season. In Sept, there is Fireworks Competition held there and if really Sept having raining and typhoon, why this event is in Sept? Therefore, I wonder whether which is the correct infomation. I am intending to bring my family on 9th Sept. Pls advise. Thanks.

It is good to visit Macao in Sept, typhoon and raining always in Jun and Jul, if you want hotel or ohter service in Macao, you can contact to CITS(Macao).
