Just a friendly reminder, at least you need a double entry Chinese Visa. From GZ you can take bus to Gongbei and walk through China and Macau Immigration checkpoints.

Your husband has to get his visa to Macau ready before he enters Macau. It means that he has to apply for his Macau visa at Chinese embassy in Pakistan.

Guangzhou to Macau: take bus at Tianhe Bus Station to Gongbei and then cross the border to reach Macau.
Bus fare: CNY 63 (probably 6.3 USD)
Duration: around 2 hours if the bus runs on express way. Otherwise, it takes about 2.5 to 3 hours.

Macau to HK: take ferry from Maritime Ferry Terminal to Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan.

Ferry time: around 1 hour.

GUESTANN My friends and I (altogether 4) would like to do a trip around Guangdong province sight-seeing,food and shopping(free and easy) This is NOT our first time to Guangzhou. We speak and understand Cantonese and Mandarin My questions are:

1.When is the best times to go?
2. Can someone suggest a route for 4--6days? including stop-overs and places of interest
3.How and where to get a van with a reliable driver?
